Choosing the Right Dehumidifier

Which GOZ dehumidifier should I choose for my humidity target?

For a general room-temperature application, a refrigeration dehumidifier may be suitable. For rotary desiccant dehumidifiers, use the Mini type for a typical target of 25–35% RH, the Standard type for 15–25% RH, a desiccant air-handling system when both temperature and humidity need to be controlled, and a low-dew-point desiccant air-handling system when the process requires very low dew point. Final selection depends on the actual process conditions and required performance.

Can you select a dehumidifier based on room size alone?

Room dimensions are a useful starting point, but they are not enough for reliable selection. The calculation also depends on the target temperature and humidity or dew point, moisture sources, air leakage and air changes, fresh-air/exhaust requirements, process conditions, and required airflow.

Types and Performance

Is the 20 kg/h industrial dehumidifier a desiccant model?

No. The 20 kg/h model is a conventional refrigeration dehumidifier. It is separate from GOZ’s rotary desiccant dehumidifier range.

Can a low-dew-point system achieve a dew point of −60°C?

The low-dew-point product information describes configurations for very low dew-point applications, including performance up to −60°C. The achievable condition depends on the selected configuration, inlet-air conditions, airflow, and process design; confirm the guaranteed target for each project.

Are low-dew-point systems available with electric or steam regeneration?

Both electric and steam regeneration options are available in the listed low-dew-point range. Availability depends on the model and project configuration.

Please provide room dimensions, current and target temperature and RH or dew point, the process and moisture sources, fresh-air and exhaust requirements, required airflow, site conditions, and available power supply. Drawings or a process description can help clarify the application.

Please share the application, required quantity, technical conditions and target performance, installation location, power supply, and any delivery or documentation requirements. If you already have a preferred model or specification, include it for review.
