GZD Ceiling-Mounted Dehumidifier

Product Overview

The GZD Ceiling-Mounted Dehumidifier is a ducted refrigerant dehumidifier designed to control excess moisture while keeping floor space available. Installed above the ceiling and connected to return- and supply-air ducts, the unit draws humid air from the space, removes moisture, and returns drier air to the room.

The GZD series includes six models with listed dehumidification capacities from 25 to 480 L/day and airflow from 280 to 5,600 m³/h. Use the model data below as a preliminary reference. Final selection should consider moisture load, operating conditions, duct resistance, drainage, installation access, and site power.

Product Features

Ceiling-Mounted, Duct-Connected Design

The ceiling-mounted arrangement helps preserve usable floor area. Return and supply air connections let the unit integrate with a project duct system. Check ceiling clearance, service access, duct dimensions, and condensate drainage before installation.

Six Capacity Options

Choose from six models covering listed capacities of 25–480 L/day and airflow of 280–5,600 m³/h. Coverage figures are intended for initial model comparison; actual sizing depends on moisture load, ventilation, temperature, humidity target, and room construction.

Airflow and External Static Pressure Selection

Each model has a specified airflow and available external static pressure. Match these values to the duct layout and system resistance to support the required air distribution.

Model-Specific Power Supply

GZD-251B, GZD-551B, GZD-951B, and GZD-7S are listed for 1 Ph / 220 V / 50 Hz. GZD-10S and GZD-20S are listed for 3 Ph / 380 V / 50 Hz. Confirm site power before ordering.

How the Ducted Dehumidifier Works

Humid return air enters the unit through the return-air duct and passes through the refrigeration dehumidification section. Moisture condenses and is removed through the drain. The treated air is then supplied back to the space through the supply-air duct. The actual duct arrangement and drainage details should follow the approved project design and product documentation.

Applications

The GZD Ceiling-Mounted Dehumidifier can be considered for commercial and industrial spaces where concealed installation and ducted air distribution suit the project, including workshops, warehouses, storage rooms, basements, archives, and equipment rooms. Confirm suitability against the required humidity target, ambient conditions, room load, ventilation strategy, and duct design.

How to Select a GZD Model

For a technical recommendation, provide room length, width and height; target temperature and relative humidity; expected moisture load; required airflow; supply and return duct dimensions and approximate lengths; available static pressure; site voltage, phase and frequency; installation clearance; and condensate drain location. Coverage area alone is not sufficient to size a dehumidifier.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a ceiling-mounted dehumidifier?

It is a dehumidifier installed above or within a ceiling space. GZD models connect to supply and return ducts to treat air from the space and deliver drier air back.

Is the GZD series a ducted dehumidifier?

Yes. The listed models have return-air inlets and supply-air outlets for duct connection. Confirm the connection arrangement and duct design for the selected model.

What capacity test condition is listed?

The supplied specification lists dehumidification capacity at 30°C and 80% relative humidity. Confirm the rating method and operating conditions for your project.

Can the GZD unit treat outdoor fresh air?

The available specifications describe return-air dehumidification and do not confirm an outdoor-air function. Share fresh-air requirements with our team for technical review.

How can I request a quotation?

Send us your target model or moisture-removal requirement, room dimensions, target temperature and humidity, duct details, site power supply, quantity, destination, and certification requirements.
